othing but pride fills the hearts of Old Scholars Worldwide, neither Barbadians besides the pride of one of our own achieving greats.

At minutes past 3, Thursday August 20th 2009, Ryan M Brathwaite running from Lane #4 treated the Caribbean to another tasteful delight, coming off from a high of resetting of National Records continuously (4times in 24 hours) Ryan Brathwaite Clocked a new national record in the 110M Hurdles while catching the Gold Medal in a fast paced raced.
Having the slowest reaction time coming out of the blocks, Ryan proved to the world that he has what it takes to be King of the track in this very technical race. Running neck to neck against two (2) Americans, the 21 year old former student of Lawerance T Gay and Lester Vaughan gave it his all to come out on top of the pack.

During the meet, Ryan certainly stepped out Blazing, winning his 2 heats confortably to get into the Semi-Finals where he placed all doubters into their rightful places.
